What the Plant helps you identify plants from a photo and gives you quick care guidance, including light, watering, humidity, and pet safety information.
How does What the Plant work? Take a photo of a plant or choose one from your photo library. What the Plant analyzes the image and returns the plant name, scientific name, and helpful care details.
Why is the camera not working? Please make sure camera access is enabled for What the Plant in your device Settings. If camera access is unavailable, you can still choose a photo from your library.
Why did plant identification fail? Identification may fail if the image is too dark, blurry, too far away, or does not clearly show the plant. Try using a brighter, closer photo with visible leaves or flowers.
Can I use a photo from my library? Yes. You can select an existing image from your photo library instead of taking a new photo.
How accurate is the result? What the Plant aims to provide helpful results, but identification and care information may not always be perfect. Please use the results as guidance and double-check important plant care decisions when needed.
Is pet safety information guaranteed? Pet safety information is provided as general guidance only and should not replace advice from a qualified veterinarian or other professional source.
